“Minnesota Nice” - Atmosphere ft. Prof, Felipe Cuauhtli, and Gene Poole
Minneapolis rap duo Atmosphere have released a free new track, a posse cut with the other artists on their Welcome to Minnesota Tour. An old school, west coast bounce powers the track and, unsurprisingly, Slug’s verse is the highlight. Check out the track, and if you’re lucky enough to be in the area, the shows as well.

To Whom It May Concern // The Civil Wars
I miss you but I haven’t met you…
I will eventually stop posting and reblogging the Civil Wars songs, but wow. “Barton Hollow” is going to be the album of the year. Just go ahead and download it from Amazon right now.
FLEET FOXES | Helplessness Blues
Fleet Foxes is an indie folk band that formed in Seattle, Washington, United States in 2006. The band consists of Robin Pecknold (vocals, guitar), Skyler Skjelset(guitar), Christian Wargo (bass, guitar, vocals), Casey Wescott (keyboards, vocals) and J. Tillman (drums, vocals). They are signed to the labels Sub Pop and Bella Union.
We heard this song being out earlier this morning but didn’t get a chance to listen to it until now. Seeing it being blogged all over the music blogosphere, we wanted to give our two cents into this goodness. Fleet Foxes are back guys! Robin really settles the tone again with the authentic indie folk rock back to our ears again with this soothing acoustic heavy track. The song progresses with the harmonizing vocals of Robin and Casey singing together. This band, we swear, one of those you’ll look back and go “Man, they were good.” We can’t wait for the new album drop but here’s a link to this track for you to download! Check it out. You won’t be dissapointed.
Fleet Foxes - Helplessness Blues
P.S. Fleet Foxes posted this on their twitter…
“So weird to see people react to something that was only heard by seven dudes for almost a year. I wonder how the full record fares.”
